A family of birational models of generalized Kummer varieties as coverings of a projective 4-space |

| Abstract |
| I will discribe a work in progress in collaboration with Gregory Sankaran and Marc Nieper-Wisskirchen, where we construct birational models of generalized Kummer varieties using degree \(15\) ramified coverings of the projective \(4\)-space. The starting point of this work is a geometric interpretation of the group law on the Jacobian of a genus \(2\) curve. |
